About Me

Why and What I do

I help organizations, and the people who run them, understand for themselves how to organize their work to create sustainable, breakthrough results, and a proud, committed workforce.

My Purpose

My purpose is to help you create and maintain well defined workplaces that are effective, able to continuously improve, and allow people to enjoy and take pride in their work.

My Approach

My approach varies with each client, depending on their needs. From FREE Webinars, to iPeerGroup™, where people working to transform their organizations work together, affordably, meeting once a week, online, in peer group dialogue facilitated by me, and other members of the Deming Collaboration; to iTrain2Improve™, a series of interactive and/or live training programs from single principles to the full on training of supervisors through the Supervisor Training Conference Program, inspired by the training conferences Homer Sarasohn did for the Japanese after WWII, through Training Within Industry, one of the keys to the Japanese Miracle, along with Dr. Deming; to dedicated coaching of companies that truly wish to transform and unleash the creative potential of their workers, for breakthrough profit and productivity.

All my work involves teamwork to research, understand and solve problems based on faith in people. Every organization is different, and what works for one will not for another: there is no paint by numbers, or instant pudding.

My Methods

My methods are simple, applying generic tools and management practices. I often use visual aids to help make the complicated simple. I am heavily influenced by W.E. Deming, obviously, as I am a co-founder of the Deming Collaboration, and the works of Walter Shewhart and Taichi Ohno of Toyota.
